Fandom is based on Mont St Michel. It's small. We're all living on top of each other. The streets are really tiny. Scooters, foot traffic and motorcycles only. All cars must be left in the parking lot on the outskirts of town near the causeway to the mainland. There are very few abandoned buildings. There are also very few duplicate businesses. Please do not make up NPC businesses. There is a list of all businesses, including NPC businesses in the Fandom Town Directory. If there is not a business that you require, please go to the mainland or contact the townie admin to discuss your options.

Exposure and Privacy: If your characters are having a conversation in a public place, you're leaving yourself open to interaction with others, either through interruptions or eavesdropping. If you want it to be private, do it in a private place (like a closed dorm room, closet, etc) or make an in character effort to keep your voices down.

Fandom Radio: The Fandom Radio broadcasts (ie: what is said on the air) are IC knowledge. Once you click a link in the Fandom Radio posts, the information (ie: the actual scene) becomes OOC knowledge. If you don't want a scene broadcast, label it "NFB" (Not For Broadcast), otherwise it's up for grabs and will likely be reported to the public. Weapons: Weapons are not allowed on the Fandom High campus outside of the firing range or fencing salle. Weaponry in town falls under the jurisdiction of the Sheriff's department and is fine so long as you don't go waving the weapons around and causing trouble in public.

Crime and Punishment: Fandom Town has clone troopers that patrol the town, as well as Sheriff Roy Mustang and deputies Special Agent Dale Cooper and Lieutenant Renee Montoya. Expect violations of the law to be met with appropriate consequences. Fandom High has Royal Canadian Mounted Police Constable Benton Fraser who patrols the school and will hand you over to the appropriate authorities for punishment and probably force you to listen to a probably made up Inuit legend. If you are interested in having a major physical clash anywhere in public where it would be noticed, please be sure to contact Sheriff Mustang or Constable Fraser so they can react appropriately.

Townies on Campus: Townies are welcome to come onto the school campus to visit the library, for major events (such as sports games, plays and BDEs) and to join in on activities on the first floor of the dorms. However, we do ask that they not enter the dorms above the first floor unless for a specific plot-related reason.

Learning New Abilities: If you are interested in having your character learn an ability/gain a power that they could not normally learn in their own canon, please see this post for more details.

Wildlife: Please don't have new forms of wildlife (whether totally made up or taken from a show/movie/other canon) appear in Fandom without clearing it with the admins first. This is to ensure that we don't get swamped with dozens of different animals on a very small island.
