Violence On-Campus: If you take a swing at another character on school grounds in a public area, no matter the provokation, you are in trouble IC. Period. If you're planning on doing this, please contact Constable Fraser or the Principal OOCly so they can react accordingly.

Privacy: The common areas/public areas/classrooms/hallways/etc of the school are always being watched and recorded by advanced technology. Also? The administration are freaky. They see almost everything. They ignore most of it, but they see most of what's going on. However, full nudity, sex, alcohol and drug use cannot occur in public places on campus without punishment. If you're going to do that, let someone in charge know so we can keep an eye out for it.

Student/Faculty Relationships: IC there is a "no frakking way" policy. OOC, we're not banning them, but they are frowned upon and they have to happen in secret or there will be IC consequences.

Students Leaving the Island: If a character wants to leave the island officially, they should contact the fh_office to hand in their paperwork. If a character is leaving unofficially/sneaking off for more than a week, just let someone know OOC where they're going so we can keep track. If students are ditching classes, it's polite to let your teachers know OOCly.

Detention: If students act up in class, don't do work or don't show up, faculty are allowed to give out detention. Detention is held on Saturday in the Danger Shop (normally used for some classes). If your character has detention, they are not allowed to be anywhere else but detention on Saturdays until the IC time that detention ends as specified in the detention post. You are not permitted to do anything for that character but play out the detention thread until the faculty member in charge of detention dismisses you. If you cannot play out detention due to RL reasons, please contact idontlooktired OOC to make arrangements so your character can fulfil their detention requirements somehow. Classes: Classes are held once a week. A teacher or TA will put a post up by 12pm PST and students enrolled in that class are expected to at least sign in. They are welcome to participate in the set activity for the week. It's a good place for interaction with people you might not otherwise approach. If a student is going to miss a class and the player knows in advance, please let the teacher know ASAP. If the teacher is going to be away on the day that their class is due, it is their responsibility to find someone to cover their class for them. Class expectations for 2007-2008 can be found here.
